Skopje, 25 October 2022 (MIA) – Deputy PM for good governance policies Slavica Grkovska met with Marja Ruotanen, Director of Human Dignity, Equality and Sport Values at the Council of Europe, on the sidelines of the 17th Council of Europe Conference of Ministers for Sport in Antalya on Tuesday. Grkovska and Ruotanen highlighted the significance of good cooperation of the Deputy PM’s Office with the Council of Europe in several fields, including corruption in sport. The Deputy PM informed the CoE official over the activities that are being implemented with regards to youth and sport, as well as campaign #ЗависиОдМенеиТебе (It depends on me and you) that will fully focus on youth, their needs, challenges and opportunities, while noting that young people are an important partner in the creation of good governance policies, her Office said in a press release. Grkovska stressed the enormous importance of projects realized in cooperation with international partners, aimed at developing the awareness among young people over the significance of integrity. Ruotanen assessed that North Macedonia is a model of good practice within the CoE in the sector of youth and sport, reads the press release.
