VMRO-DPMNE kicks off preparations for December congress at Central Committee session

Skopje, 15 November 2025 (MIA) - The VMRO-DPMNE Central Committee held a session yesterday at which several important decisions were passed in relation to the preparations for the upcoming party congress, scheduled for December 6 in Kavadarci.

“A decision was made to select delegates who will participate and decide at the Congress. Over 800 delegates will participate in the Congress, and Secretary General Gjorgjija Sajkoski was authorized to draft the final list of delegates in accordance with the VMRO-DPMNE statute. An organizational committee was also formed to prepare the Congress,” said a press release by the ruling party. 

The Central Committee decided to dismiss Ilija Stoilev from the post of president of VMRO-DPMNE’s Municipal Committee in Sveti Nikole in the wake of the case involving misuse of funds in the Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Development.

It was also decided to dismiss Goce Stoilovski as president of the VMRO-DPMNE Municipal Committee in Makedonska Kamenica. 

The Central Committee also discussed the results of this year’s local elections, in which VMRO-DPMNE won a landslide victory, which is seen as a represents responsibility to work and produce results all the while fulfilling the promises made to the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia, said the press release.
