Skopje, 26 November 2025 (MIA) - Vlen has reached an agreement over their proposals for ministers after First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Izet Mexhiti was elected Mayor of the Municipality of Chair, party sources tell MIA. The government told MIA Vlen is yet to submit a proposal, and they expect this to happen by Monday at the latest, echoing a statement made by Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski earlier on Wednesday.

According to sources in Vlen, Bekim Sali will be the party’s proposal for First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of European Affairs, Muhamed Hoxha for Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, while Bashkim Bakiu will be proposed to replace Azir Aliu as Health Minister, with Aliu taking over as head of the Agency for Electronic Communications.

Current Minister of European Affairs Orhan Murtezani has been nominated to be the country’s new Ambassador in Brussels.
