Vlen appoints new whip after AA split

Skopje, 15 May 2025 (MIA) - Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi has been notified that lawmaker Bekim Qoku is the new coordinator of the Vlen MP group.

MPs Merita Kollci-Koxhaxhiku and Adnan Azizi have been appointed deputy whips, the Parliament said in a press release.

The change comes after the Alliance of Albanians (AA) bloc led by Health Minister Arben Taravari has decided to leave the Government, along with its five MPs. Therefore, the Vlen group now has nine seats in the Parliament.
