Skopje, 11 July 2025 (MIA) - Mayor of the City of Skopje, Danela Arsovska, was physically attacked on Friday while undertaking work duties in Chair. She has also been verbally threatened by several individuals.

The Ministry of Interior confirmed the information, noting that the incident happened on Kumbara street, and the case was reported to the Skopje police at 12:15 p.m.

"On 11.07.2025 at 12:15 pm, a person identified by the initials A.J. reported to the Skopje police that while undertaking work duties on Kumbara street, the Mayor of the City of Skopje, Danela Arsovska, was physically attacked, and several people made verbal threats to her. She did not want to file a report about the incident, and headed to the 8 September hospital to receive medical assistance," said the Interior Ministry.
