Skopje, 13 December 2025 (MIA) - Skopje is hosting Saturday the fourth edition of the Slow Food Salon 2025, held under the motto “Together With Nature.”

As announced by the organizers, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy, explore, and taste at the Food Products Fair, getting to know local and regional producers from across Macedonia who preserve tradition and produce good, clean, and fair food. The Fair will also feature a Beverage Salon, offering an ideal opportunity to discover and taste drinks made with respect for nature.

“We will explore the deep relationship between humans and nature, inspired by Albert Einstein’s quote: ‘Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.’”

“At a time when we are becoming disconnected from our roots, Slow Food demonstrates the path toward restoring our relationship with nature and the ecosystem. That is why this salon is more than an event, it is a call for transformation: from consuming natural resources to entering a regenerative phase that respects and renews the earth, water, and all living organisms,” according to Slow Food.

Three forums will be held at the Slow Food Arena, where ideas meet and open discussions shape our bond with nature: Education for a Sustainable Future, Agroecology and Slow Food Farms, and Slow Food Travel.

According to the organizers, the event will feature masterclasses and tastings, an extensive range of Mixology showcasing local drinks in new combinations, and a cooking school where natural foods, fermentation, and preparation techniques will be taught.

The Slow Food Salon is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy and the Swedish organization We Effect.
