Skopje, 25 June 2025 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova and Foreign Minister Timcho Mucunski had Wednesday a brief encounter with United States President Donald Trump and Vice-President JD Vance on the sidelines of the NATO Summit in The Hague.

"Vice-President Vance knows our Foreign Minister and I believe he said he might pay a visit to our country. I presented myself and said it was my first time at the summit. I told him that I share the values of my people and that I would present our positions," said President Siljanovska Davkova.

Earlier, the President shared on her Facebook account that the brief meeting represented a symbolic gesture of respect and partnership.

"We remain committed to the alliance with the United States as our key strategic partner within NATO and beyond," wrote Siljanovska Davkova.
