Skopje, 1 October 2025 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova is on a working visit to the Kingdom of Denmark where she will attend the 7th meeting of the European Political Community in Copenhagen on October 2.

In a press release, the President’s Office said Siljanovska-Davkova will address a panel discussion titled “Security and Resilience: Traditional and New Threats” which will be chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Forty-seven heads of state and government have been invited to the meeting in Copenhagen. Key topics will include the war in Ukraine and the necessary steps toward a stronger and safer Europe amid a tense geopolitical climate.

“Considering the numerous challenges that include coordinated cyber operations, sabotage of critical infrastructure, and issues with migration influx, leaders will discuss the necessity of strengthening cooperation. The focus will be on the need to take greater responsibility for one's own defense, as well as enhancing industrial and technological cooperation,” the press release said.

The European Political Community is a platform whose main goal is to encourage political dialogue to resolve issues of mutual interest, as well as to strengthen the security, stability, and prosperity of the European continent.
