Skopje, 29 October 2025 (MIA) – Parliament will hold the first plenary session after Sunday’s runoff of the local elections this coming Monday (November 3), which will include an address by the President of the Council of Europe’s Parliamentary Assembly (PACE), Theodoros Rousopoulos.

MPs at the session are expected to verify that three members of the current parliamentary composition were elected mayors in the first round of the local elections on October 19, including Elizabeta Stamenkovska – Trajkovska in Kisela Voda, Jane Micevski in Sopishte and Dejan Prodanovski in Prilep. 

The 2026 draft-budget is expected to enter a parliamentary procedure in the coming days.

The Parliamentary Institute in the past few days organized in Parliament educational activities titled “I Have a Stance” for high school students.

Parliament’s activities were suspended due to the 2025 local elections.
