Tetovo, 28 May 2025 (MIA) - Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski and his Kosovan counterpart launched Wednesday the one-stop border control system at the Jazhince-Globochica border with Kosovo.
Toshkovski stressed the system would ensure a faster flow of passengers between the two countries, since joint control systems have been established at both border crossings with Kosovo.

“The system proved very functional at the Blace border crossing, I hope we will have improved functionality here as well, a faster transfer of passengers so we can ensure the best possible communication between our two countries. The implementation of this system will continue with the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Albania,” Toshkovski said.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Izet Mexhiti said the joint session of the governments of the two countries laid the foundation for the system’s implementation.
“We are demonstrating our commitment to that which we have been elected to do – serve the citizens, facilitate their movement. As was the case with Blace, now Tetovo will also be closer to Pristina and vice versa,” Mexhiti said.
Kosovo’s Interior Minister, Xhelal Sveçla, also stressed that the cooperation between the police and customs administrations of the two countries will facilitate the movement of citizens on both sides of the border.
