Skopje, 2 January 2026 (MIA) - We have consolidated Macedonian Post, no employees have been let off and wages are paid regularly, says Deputy PM and Transport Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski.

Minister Nikoloski told Alfa it is not right that private postal companies consume the entire market while Macedonian Post carries the burden.

"When looking at the revenues, Macedonian Post's profit is about EUR 11 million with a 75-percent market share, while private posts make about EUR 18 million with a 25-percent share. This must be corrected and that is why we will donate 100 vehiles and implement a new software in order to improve Post's position, while legislative changes will help the company grow further," says Nikoloski.

He adds that the company will be restructured in the coming period.
