Nikoloski: Eleven new destinations from Skopje and Ohrid airports

Skopje, 26 October 2025 (MIA) - Deputy PM and Transport Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski said Sunday the Government's policies for attraction of new airlines at the Skopje and Ohrid airports produce results, with 11 new destinations to be launched as of Monday.

"As of tomorrow, Basel is the new destination from Ohrid, as are Stockholm, Stuttgart, Bari and Larnaka from Skopje," said Nikoloski on Facebook.

The Geneva flight will be launched on November 3, followed by Madrid, Prague and Cologne.

"There are also the flights to Budapest and Naples as of next April. Such a revolution in the sector has not been seen in decades, and this is an incentive to work harder in the coming period. The number of passengers at the Skopje and Ohrid airports is on the rise, as is the number of tourists in Macedonia," said Nikoloski.
