Nikoloski – Tiganj: Excellent bilateral relations to be boosted through greater trade 

Skopje, 27 February 2025 (MIA) - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski held a meeting Thursday with Croatian Ambassador Nives Tiganj, discussing future cooperation between the two countries.

In a press release, the Ministry of Transport said Deputy PM Nikoloski highlighted the existence of a great opportunity to boost economic cooperation and trade exchange between the two countries.

Nikoloski told the Ambassador the Government has launched the largest investment activity so far aimed at modernizing infrastructure with a special emphasis on corridors VIII and X. 

The meeting discussed current political issues in the country and the region as well, with an emphasis on the reforms implemented in the country as part of its EU path.  

The Deputy PM thanked the Ambassador for Croatia’s continued support on the path to EU membership, with both Nikoloski and Tiganj concluding the bilateral relations will continue to be maintained at an excellent level in the interest of mutual cooperation and friendship between the two countries, the Ministry of Transport said in the press release.
