Nikoloski – Nagy: Regional infrastructure and transport projects a shared priority for Macedonia and Hungary

Skopje, 21 August 2025 (MIA) - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski, during his visit to Hungary, met Thursday with Hungarian Minister for National Economy, Márton Nagy. The meeting focused on the government projects led by VMRO-DPMNE, planned economic growth, new investments, and current policies.

Ministry of Transport stated that the discussion also included Hungary’s government economic policies and growth plans, as well as opportunities for closer economic cooperation between the two countries.

“Regional transport and infrastructure projects are shared priority for Macedonia and Hungary to boost economic growth and regional connectivity. The government-to-government agreement signed by both countries offers significant benefits for citizens. Relations are excellent and will be further strengthened in economic and investment areas,” the Ministry of Transport and Communications said.

Deputy PM Aleksandar Nikoloski is in Budapest at the invitation of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to attend the celebration of the Hungary’s National Day.
