My political responsibility judged at elections, says PM on Kochani fire
- Let citizens judge whether I am guilty or not. My political responsibility is judged at elections. If I am charged, let the prosecutor indict me at once. If not, all those who conduct a necrophilia campaign for political purposes should apologize to me, says Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski when asked if he feels any moral responsibility for the fatal nightclub fire in Kochani.

Skopje, 17 July 2025 (MIA) - Let citizens judge whether I am guilty or not.
PM Mickoski told Kanal 5 that the Government has shown it does not apply double standards "because people who are part of the Government, its institutions and senior MoI officials have been detained, as no government did in the past".
He has no issue with bearing the whole burden of responsibility and be judged at elections.
"Let the people judge at the coming elections. My political responsibility is judged at elections. If I am charged, let the prosecutor indict me at once. If not, all those who conduct a necrophilia campaign for political purposes should apologize to me. I will resign on the first day after my defeat, otherwise they apologize," says Mickoski.
