Skopje, 9 June 2025 (MIA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski is paying Monday a working visit to Astana, Kazakhstan, focused on improving the countries’ economic and political relations.

Minister Mucunski together with the head of the industrial zones, Goce Dimovski, and the national tourism coordinator, Akan Mahmud, took part in a roundtable organized by the Astana International Financial Center. He also met with Minister of Trade and Integration, Arman Shakkaliyev.

“As part of the government’s commitment to attracting foreign investments, the stable investment climate was presented in the meetings as well as the competitive conditions offered by the country, mainly in the industrial and technological sector alongside the opportunities for cooperation in tourism,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said.

Both sides agreed over the need to further boost economic cooperation, including the holding of a business forum in Skopje, it added.
