Mucunski holds meeting with U.S. Acting Principal Deputy Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Andrew Stowe
- As part of his official visit to Washington, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met with the U.S. Acting Principal Deputy Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Andrew Stowe, at the State Department.
Skopje, 19 September 2025 (MIA) - As part of his official visit to Washington, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met with the U.S. Acting Principal Deputy Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Andrew Stowe, at the State Department.
As stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, the meeting focused on the achievements over the past 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of North Macedonia and the United States, strategic partnership, political and sectoral cooperation, as well as the potential for further deepening of these ties.
“The interlocutors reaffirmed the excellent bilateral and friendly relations, based on the values of security, democracy, and freedom. Minister Mucunski expressed gratitude for the continued U.S. support in societal transformation, capacity building, and implementation of necessary reforms,” the Ministry’s press release reads.
The meeting also addressed the strong NATO alliance, active cooperation in multilateral organizations, and the joint contribution to regional and global stability and security, reads the press release.
