Skopje, 18 June 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timcho Mucunski, is paying a visit to Taormina on June 18-19. At the invitation of the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, he is participating in a ministerial conference on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Messina Conference (1955).

The event is attended by foreign ministers from EU member states and candidate countries as well as potential candidates for membership. The topic of the conference is the future of the European Union and European integration amid current geopolitical challenges, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.

Minister Mucunski will address the conference, reaffirming the commitment of the Republic of North Macedonia to full membership in the European Union, as well as the importance of European unity and determination in the enlargement process.
