Skopje, 16 July 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski and Defense Minister Vlado Misajlovski met Wednesday with the United Kingdom’s Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Services, Small Business and Exports, Gareth Thomas, as part of their working visit to London.

In a social media post, Mucunski said the meeting focused on opportunities for economic cooperation, as well as cooperation around investments, boosting trade, infrastructure projects, and the improvement and modernization of healthcare capacities. 

“In that context, we affirmed the importance of mutual growth and prosperity for the development of our relations and reaffirmed our commitment to cooperation aimed at achieving these goals. During the meeting, I also emphasized the Government’s dedication, through tangible policies, to work on attracting new foreign investments,” Mucunski wrote.

The Foreign Minister added that they agreed to work together on enhancing overall trade relations in the coming period, which, he said, constitutes an integral part of the strategic partnership declaration between the two countries.
