MoH: 33 patients remain hospitalized abroad as 5 return from Serbia

Skopje, 25 April 2025 (MIA) – The Ministry of Health said that five more patients, injured in the Kochani nightclub fire, are returning home Friday after receiving treatment in Serbia.

In line with the protocol, three patients will be kept under observation at the Plastic Surgery Clinic, one will be treated at the Surgical Clinic “St. Naum Ohridski,” and one patient has chosen to continue treatment at the private “Zhan Mitrev” clinic.

Currently, a total of three patients are receiving treatment in the country - one at the “St. Naum Ohridski” Surgical Clinic and two at the private hospital Sistina.

One patient is expected to return from Belgium tomorrow, and will be placed under observation at the Plastic Surgery Clinic.

The Health Ministry says it has been continuously monitoring the condition of burn patients so as to provide the best possible treatment and future rehabilitation. 

The March 16 fire that broke out in the Pulse nightclub in Kochani killed 62 people and almost 200 were left injured.
