Skopje, 6 September 2025 (MIA) - An earthquake measuring ML2.2 of Richter local magnitude was registered at 2:13 a.m. Saturday in the Valandovo epicentral area, about 116 km southeast of Skopje.

Citing current data, the Seismological Observatory at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje said the earthquake was felt in Strumica and the surrounding area with an intensity of III degrees according to the European Macroseismic Scale.
