Skopje, 30 October 2025 (MIA) — At a meeting earlier Thursday, Minister of Public Administration Goran Minchev and Swedish Ambassador Ola Sohlström discussed potential ways to strengthen public administration cooperation between the two countries, according to the Ministry of Public Administration in a press release.

Minister Minchev thanked Ambassador Sohlström for Sweden's continued support to the country in its reform processes, stressing the importance of the partnership for institutional capacity-building and improving public service quality.

"Our objective is to build a public administration that is of service to citizens – professional, transparent and results-oriented," Minchev is quoted as saying in the release. 

"The support of our international partners, such as Sweden, is of great importance in this process of modernization and institutional maturity," he said.

Minchev and Sohlström both expressed readiness to cooperate further, to exchange experiences and to carry out projects that would modernize the public sector and improve human resource management, transparency, accountability as well as the implementation of good European practices. mr/
