Mickoski: Situation stabilized, expectations higher

Skopje, 25 June 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister and VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski told a party debate in Prilep late on Wednesday that the situation in the country has been stabilized.

"We did not start from zero but below zero. I understand that expectations are higher but we need to be patient and continue to work with sincerity. The best is yet to come," said PM Mickoski.

He added that the Government is responsible for protection of the Macedonian identity and VMRO-DPMNE would continue to do that.

"When I look into the eyes of the people I meet every day, I know that I must do everything possible to secure a better life for them. This is how I see Macedonia as well - with love and responsibility. For you, your family, the future we are building together, the hopes that must not be let down," added Mickoski.

He said Macedonia is about to experience a new era, becoming a country of opportunities, humanity and values, a country that everyone will be proud of.

"This year was one of hard work, commitment and restoring the trust, consolidation and stabilization. That is why today we are looking forward with conviction and a heart full of hope. Macedonia's time is coming," underlined Mickoski.
