Skopje, 1 May 2025 (MIA) – Today we pay respect to all workers, those who push the society forward with their persistence, responsibility and honour, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said in a greeting on International Workers’ Day.

Hard work is one of the biggest values a person’s dignity is built on and thus, it is the foundation of every progressive country, according to him.

“The government continues being fully committed to improving the living standards of the citizens. By raising minimum and average wage, raising pensions, supporting job creation, improving workers’ rights and reducing unemployment, we invest in the real values – hard work, knowledge and in humans,” said Mickoski.

Let us continue building together Macedonia as a fair and dignified country for each and every citizen, he concluded.
