Mickoski: Coalition SDSM-DUI-Levica on one side, VMRO-DPMNE on the other
- The people will decide these elections and no one else. Macedonia needs a coalition of work and future, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski told a rally in Resen late on Tuesday.
Resen, 30 September 2025 (MIA) - The people will decide these elections and no one else. Macedonia needs a coalition of work and future, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski told a rally in Resen late on Tuesday.
"Macedonia is tired from one and the same politicians who threaten its future, it is tired of the alliances that profit at the expense of the people, it is tired of the intrigues by Venko (Filipche), Ali (Ahmeti) and Dimche (Apasiev). This is a coalition for money. Macedonia needs a coalition of work and future, the winning coalition of VMRO-DPMNE," said Mickoski.

He recalled on the Government's accomplishments over the past 15 months in office, including benefits for teachers, students, health workers, farmers, along with EUR 500 million investments in municipalities and other assistance.
"Our fight was not only limited to Macedonia. We inherited a robbed and humiliated state with a wounded identity and pride. That is why we had to also win in London, Brussels, Berlin, Washington. We fought and we'll continue to fight for Macedonia across the globe. Macedonia is in good hands as long as this Government is in power," said Mickoski.
Incumbent Resen Mayor Jovan Tozievski, who is running for a second term, listed the results of the local authorities over the past four years, saying that the municipal account was finally unblocked.

"I am not running on empty words, but to continue what we started and contribute to a strong and developed Prespa region. Our priority is the rehabilitation of the city square, rehabilitation of the Galichica ski resort, construction of the Resen ring road, a new car park, rehabilitation of streets and water supply systems," said Tozievski.
He added that international expert assistance would be used for the Lake Prespa protection.
