Mickoski: Anyone who has broken the law will be held accountable regardless of political affiliation
- Anyone who breaks the law and fails to work in an honest way will be held accountable, regardless of which political party they come from, whether it's VMRO-DPMNE, the Vlen coalition, the political party ZNAM, or someone who acted irresponsibly in the past and has been found to be involved in major crimes, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on Tuesday in response to a journalist's question.

Skopje, 12 August 2025 (MIA) - Anyone who breaks the law and fails to work in an honest way will be held accountable, regardless of which political party they come from, whether it's VMRO-DPMNE, the Vlen coalition, the political party ZNAM, or someone who acted irresponsibly in the past and has been found to be involved in major crimes, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on Tuesday in response to a journalist's question.
“Some of those individuals, where major crimes have been identified, who in the past were playing football and basketball in their offices, are unfortunately now on the run and cannot be held accountable by the authorities. But I hope the day will come when they will face justice. There are also many officials for whom there is founded suspicion that they committed serious crimes in the past, buying shopping centers, expanding their car collections with Maybachs, creating companies that became millionaires overnight, and I could list countless such cases,” said Mickoski
This Government, the PM added, “is a Government that delivers justice for all citizens in Macedonia, that is how we will act toward anyone for whom there is founded suspicion of having committed a crime or acted irresponsibly in public service in the past and now as well, regardless of which political party they come from.”
