Skopje, 10 July 2025 (MIA) - North Macedonia's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Izet Mexhiti, is participating in the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025 (URC 2025), taking place in Rome, Italy. 

This is the fourth edition of the annual series of high-level political events dedicated to the swift recovery and long-term reconstruction of Ukraine. The event is co-organised by Italy and Ukraine, with the involvement of governments, parliaments, international organisations, businesses, local communities, and civil society, the Environment Ministry said in a press release. 

In Rome, Deputy PM Mexhiti reiterated North Macedonia's strong position in support of Ukrainian territorial integrity, as well as the country's readiness to contribute to the recovery process.

The presence of North Macedonia at the highest level shows yet again that the country remains a steadfast supporter of Ukraine and an active participant in strengthening European solidarity and partnership with NATO and the EU, reads the press release.
