Skopje, 19 September 2025 (MIA) - A major police operation is underway in the area of ​​Berovo, Pehchevo and Delchevo. The operation has been launched since last night and is still ongoing.

The police operation is aimed at breaking up an organized criminal group that has committed illegal logging, abuse of authority, active and passive bribery, as well as other serious crimes against the environment.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) confirmed that the operation is underway, noting that more details will be available soon.
