Kochani, 24 November 2025 (MIA) - The Kochani Basic Court has rejected an appeal from the Prosecutor's Office over replacing the house arrest order with effective detention against the two Public Revenue Office (PRO) tax inspectors identified by the initials D.P. and D.D., while the remaining nine suspects are placed under precautionary measures. The decision was published on the Kochani court's website on Monday.
Acting upon an appeal filed by the Kochani Prosecutor's Office against the decision of a pre-trial judge under which two suspects were ordered to be placed under house arrest, the Kochani Basic Court rejected the appeal and upheld the decision of the pre-trial judge, the court said on its website.
The tax inspectors are suspected of receiving bribes in order to disclose information about unannounced controls in the "Pulse" nightclub by the tax authorities, whereas the son of the nightclub owner is suspected of giving the bribes.
