Skopje, 3 October 2025 (MIA) - Judge Diana Gruevska Ilievska will preside over court proceedings regarding the fire at the Pulse nightclub in Kochani, Skopje's Criminal Court said on Friday.

The case was distributed to Judge Diana Gruevska Ilievska through the ACMIS system (Automated Court Case Management Information System). In a press release, the Court said Gruevska Ilievska is a judge with 19 years of judicial experience across all departments of the court, as well as a previous 17-year tenure as an expert associate.

Earlier on Friday, the Skopje Criminal Court said its indictment evaluation council has concluded that the Pulse nightclub case is sound, allowing it to go to trial.

A fire that broke out at the Pulse nightclub in Kochani on March 16, 2025, claimed the lives of 62 young people and left over 200 injured.
