Skopje, 26 August 2025 (MIA) - A government delegation led by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Izet Mexhiti, laid flowers Tuesday at the memorial plaque of Gonxhe Bojaxhiu - Mother Teresa, marking the 115th anniversary of her birth.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Mexhiti, the kindness and humanness of the Albanians from Skopje were recognized by the world through the figure of Mother Teresa.

“Mother Teresa is a symbol that all differences between us are irrelevant if we act as human beings. We are building a future in Skopje. It will once again be recognized worldwide as a center of high culture, advanced education, and a scientific-technological hub with prospects for youth and humanism,” Mexhiti said.
