Skopje, 11 July 2025 (MIA) - On this day, 30 years after the tragedy in Srebrenica, we pay tribute to all the innocent victims and stand in solidarity with their families. This genocide remains a lasting reminder of the obligation to preserve peace, human rights, and the dignity of every individual, the Government said in a press release.

The Government emphasizes the importance of learning from the past to ensure tragedies like these never recur.

“During this time of remembrance, we pay tribute to all peoples who have suffered persecution and injustice throughout history, including the Macedonian people, who endured political violence and exile in the 20th century,” said the Government.
