Skopje, 23 October 2025 (MIA) – October 23 reminds us of our longing for rights, equality and social organization in a crucial time in history, said Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi in a greeting on Macedonian Revolutionary Struggle Day. 

“This day gives us a chance to contemplate about the path we’ve had as a state and about our joint commitment to a better future for all our citizens.” Gashi added. 

In times of challenges, he noted, it is important to maintain a live dialogue, respect and democratic values that unite us as a society.

“Only through cooperation and inclusion can we build stronger institutions and a more just and more inclusive country. I wish this day were to serve as a call for unity, civil commitment and joint dedication for the future of our country,” Speaker Gashi said in his greeting.
