Gashi: Local elections to be scheduled in first half of August
Tetovo, 22 July 2025 (MIA) - Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi said Tuesday the local elections would be scheduled in the first half of August.
"We are waiting for a bit in order to pass some pieces of legislation without disrupting the operations of other institutions. We want to use the coming days to the maximum. The local elections will be scheduled in the legal deadline, in the first half of August," Speaker Gashi told reporters during a visit to Tetovo.
The local elections are set to take place in the regular slot, in the second half of October.
