Skopje, 17 July 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski, who is on a working visit to London, will meet Thursday with the United Kingdom’s Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, David Lammy.

After the meeting, the Foreign Minister is expected to sign the joint declaration for a strategic partnership between the Republic of North Macedonia and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.

“The declaration aims to strengthen strategic bilateral relations, including cooperation in foreign policy, security and defense, especially within NATO; justice and internal affairs; fight against serious and organized crime; tackling corruption and illicit financial flows; as well as economic growth,” the Ministry said.

According to the Ministry, the goal of Mucunski’s visit to the UK is the enhancement of overall bilateral relations through strengthened political dialogue and economic cooperation.
