Skopje, 8 June 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski will pay a visit to Astana on Monday, at the invitation of Kazakhstan counterpart Murat Nurtleu.

FM Mucunski will meet with host Nurtleu, Minister of Trade and Integration Arman Shakkaliyev, and Astana International Financial Center governor Renat Bekturov, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.

Mucunski and Nurtleu are set to discuss enhancement of bilateral cooperation in the fields of politics and economy, and sign a cooperation programme between the two ministries for the period between 2025-2027.

In addition, interlocutors will tackle the enhancement of economic cooperation, increase of trade exchange, investment opportunities in North Macedonia and potentials for cooperation in the tourism sector, reads the press release.
