FM Mucunski meets Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs

Skopje, 9 July 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met Wednesday with the Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad bin Sultan Al Muraikhi, who is on official visit to the country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.
The two ministers agreed that the visit represents a confirmation of the shared values and mutual commitment to more dynamic development of bilateral relations, with a special emphasis on economic ties and trade.

“The meeting focused on overall relations between the two countries and the possibility of their further enhancement. Satisfaction was voiced with the cooperation so far, including also within multilateral organizations. A special emphasis was placed on the development of economic and business relations, as well as the potential for greater educational and cultural cooperation,” the Ministry said.
Additionally, the two ministers touched upon issues related to the promotion of the contractual framework, re-establishment of a Skopje-Doha direct flight, as well as other forms of sectoral cooperation.
Talks also covered topics of regional and international character, including ongoing global challenges of mutual interest for both countries.
