Skopje, 3 May 2025 (MIA) - As part of a working visit to Japan, a delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski held a meeting with Japan’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs Hisayuki Fujii, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release Saturday. 

According to the Ministry, the meeting highlighted the excellent bilateral relations and political dialogue built over the past 30 years on the foundations of mutual respect and friendship between the two countries and peoples. Interlocutors agreed that in the coming period the focus will be placed on promoting bilateral and economic cooperation.

Opinions were also exchanged over the continuation of the successful multilateral cooperation through mutual support of initiatives and coordination over regional and international issues of mutual interest, the Ministry said.
