Skopje, 26 November 2025 (MIA) - The Ministry of Finance released on Wednesday the Prospectus for the issuance of a new popular bond in the amount of Mden 100 million (EUR 1.6 million), with citizens able to submit offers for investment in the bonds by December 10, 2025.

“The amount of a single bond is Mden 10.000, i.e., this is the minimum amount that can be invested by the citizens. The interest rate is at 4.5 percent, and the maturity period is 2 years,” said the Finance Ministry.

They specify that the auction will be held on December 12, and that offers are to be submitted through commercial banks in the country.

“The maturity date of the bonds is December 19, 2027, while the interest payments fall due on December 19, 2026 for the first year, and December 19, 2027 for the second year,” the Finance Ministry said.

This is the third issuance of a popular bond by the Finance Ministry. The two previous issuances amounted to a total of EUR 41.1 million and have already been repaid with interest for both years. In the first issuance, bonds worth EUR 23.5 million euros were invested, while in the second issuance EUR 17.6 million.
