Skopje, 27 May 2025 (MIA) - Customs officers and mobile customs teams have prevented an attempt for illicit entry of seven migrants from the Middle East and North Africa.

The migrants were found during an inspection of two trucks with Polish register plates entering the country through the Bogorodica border crossing, hidden in the cargo compartment, the Customs Administration said in a press release.

Four persons were found in the first truck, two from Syria, one from Egypt and one from Iraq. Another three were found in the second truck, from Algeria and Palestine. The migrants have been transferred to the border police for further processing.
