Court orders house arrest for two former Oncology Clinic directors
- The Basic Criminal Court in Skopje ordered Friday that the former medical director of the Oncology Clinic, Nino Vasev, and the former organizational director, Nehat Nuhi, be placed under house arrest. Previously ordered precautionary measures against the two will also remain in effect.

Skopje, 23 May 2025 (MIA) - The Basic Criminal Court in Skopje ordered Friday that the former medical director of the Oncology Clinic, Nino Vasev, and the former organizational director, Nehat Nuhi, be placed under house arrest. Previously ordered precautionary measures against the two will also remain in effect.
“Following a session held in the presence of the parties, a decision was adopted ordering house arrest for defendants N.V. and N.N. At the same time, the previously ordered precautionary measure – seizure of travel documents and ban on the issuance of new ones remains in effect,” the Criminal Court said in a press release.
The defendants have the right to appeal the decision at the Appellate Court in Skopje.
On Thursday, the Public Prosecutor's Office (PPO) said it has issued two indictments to the Skopje-based Criminal Court, one related to financial aspects at the Oncology Clinic and the second on the patients' treatment, with a total of six persons indicted.
