CMC: Two active fires, three put out
Skopje, 16 August 2025 (MIA) - The Crisis Management Center (CMC) said a total of five wildfires were reported across the country by 12 p.m. on Saturday. Two are still burning, and three have been extinguished.
According to the CMC, the fire located in the Jasen National Park in the municipality of Makedonski Brod, where mixed forest is burning, and the fire between the villages of Rogachevo and Jazhince in the municipality of Jegunovce, where grassland and mixed forest are burning, are still active.
Fires have been extinguished along the Tetovo-Gostivar road, and in the municipalities of Vrapchishte and Lipkovo.
