Skopje, 21 August 2025 (MIA) - Over the past 24 hours, there have been a total of 18 wildfires across the country, of which three remain active, the Crisis Management Center (CMC) reported Thursday morning.

Active wildfires are reported in Makedonski Brod, Prilep, and Mavrovo-Rostushe municipalities. Mixed forest is burning in Jasen. Beech forest is on fire near Belovodica and oak forest is burning in Cerovo.

Fires have been put out in the municipalities of Gostivar, Petrovec, Tetovo, Gazi Baba, Dolneni, Zhelino, Krushevo, Negotino, Radovish, Struga, Studenichani and Cheshinovo Obleshevo.
