Skopje, 21 August 2025 (MIA) - The Crisis Management Center (CMC) registered a total of 20 wildfires in the country by 6 p.m. Thursday, of which seven are still active, one is under control, while 12 have been extinguished.

The wildfire at Jasen remains active. Other active wildfires are burning at the Kitka mountain peak near the villages of Gorno Kolichani and Drachevica in the Municipality of Studenichani, in the village of Podgorci in the Municipality of Struga, in the villages of Belovodica and Lenjishte in the Municipality of Prilep, in the villages of Strovija and Dolgaec in the Municipality of Dolneni, in the village of Debreshte in the Municipality of Rosoman, and in the village of Dushegubica in the Municipality of Kichevo.  

A fire near the village of Kanarevo in the Municipality of Staro Nagorichane has been placed under control.

Fires have been put out in the municipalities of Gjorche Petrov, Struga, Lipkovo, Strumica, Dolneni, Kratovo, Kichevo, Studenichani and Gazi Baba.
