Skopje, 12 August 2025 (MIA) - A total of 20 wildfires were reported across the country by 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Seven are still burning, two have been put under control, and 11 have been extinguished, the Crisis Management Centre (CMC) said. 

The fire located in the municipality of Makedonski Brod, in the area Jasen, where mixed forest is burning, is still active. Active fires have also been reported in the municipality of Saraj, in the villages of Svilare and Radusha towards Dvorce; in the municipality of Vrapchishte, between the villages of Senokos and Gorjane; in the municipality of Makedonski Brod, in the village of Krapa; in the municipality of Dolneni; and in the municipality of Prilep, in the village of Golemo Konjari. 

Fires are under control in the village of Nerav (Kriva Palanka), and in the village of Chelopeci (Kichevo).  

Fires have been extinguished in the municipalities of Cheshinovo-Obleshevo, Kichevo, Kumanovo, Jegunovce, Radovish, Dolneni, Krivogashtani, and Brvenica.
