Skopje, 17 August 2025 (MIA) - The Crisis Management Center (CMC) said a total of 10 wildfires were reported across the country by 12 p.m. on Sunday. Six are still burning, one has been put under control, and three have been extinguished. 

According to the CMC, the fire located in the Jasen National Park in the municipality of Makedonski Brod, where mixed forest is burning, is still active. Active fires are reported between the villages of Lazhani and Koshino in the municipality of Dolneni, in the village of Bekirlija in the municipality of Lozovo, in the village of Romanovce in the municipality of Kumanovo, near the village of Slupchane in the municipality of Lipkovo, and near the village of Lojane towards the village of Miratovce. 

The fire between the villages of Rogachevo and Jazhince in the municipality of Jegunovce has been put under control. 

Fires have been extinguished in the municipalities of Shtip, Butel, and Kumnovo.
