CMC: No active fires, four under control
Skopje, 2 September 2025 (MIA) - There are no active wildfires across the country, four are under control, while 13 have been extinguished, the Crisis Management Center (CMC) said late on Tuesday.
The fires near the Vardarishte landfill in Skopje, the Jasen area in Makedonski Brod, Kozhuf mountain in Gevgelija and the village of Nikushtak in Lipkovo are under control.
The wildfires in the municipalities of Studenichani, Arachinovo, Saraj, Dolneni, Strumica, Struga, Veles, Delchevo, Kumanovo, Lipkovo, Tetovo and Gostivar have been put out.
