Skopje, 27 August 2025 (MIA) — As of 6:15 pm, 12 wildfires were reported nationwide, of which four have been put out, four are under control and four are still burning, the Crisis Management Center said Wednesday evening.

Brush fires are burning in Prilep's village of Radobil; Vrapchishte's villages of Debreshte and Zubovce; Ohrid's village of Volino; and Lipkovo's village of Orizari.

The forest fire at Jasen in the municipality of Makedonski Brod has been put under control.

Also under control are a mountain fire on Kozhuf in the municipality of Gevgelija; a brush fire in Struga's village of Koroshishta and another brush fire in the Saraj village of Kondovo. mr/
