Skopje, 5 October 2025 (MIA) – The campaign of the candidates running for mayors and municipal councillors ahead of the October 19 local elections resumes Sunday on day seven. The candidates will have rallies and meetings with voters.

The ruling VMRO-DPMNE will hold rallies to present its candidates for mayors and councillors in Novo Selo, Vasilevo, Bosilovo, Radovish and Strumica.

The opposition SDSM will promote its candidates in Makedonska Kamenica, Pehchevo, Berovo and Delchevo.

Levica’s candidate for Skopje mayor, Amar Mecinovich will have meetings with the residents of Karposh municipality. 

The local election campaign ends on October 17 ahead of a 24-hour election silence on the eve of the October 19 elections.
