Arben Taravari resigns as health minister

Skopje, 15 May 2025 (MIA) - Arben Taravari, the leader of a bloc of the Alliance for Albanians (AA), officially submitted his resignation from the post of health minister to Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on Thursday.
In a letter to Mickoski, which AA forwarded to the media, Taravari says he performed his duty “with maximum dedication, transparency and a sense of responsibility toward the citizens and the state”.
“I am making this decision after a careful personal and professional assessment, convinced that this step is in the best interest of both the institution and my personal principles. I am grateful for the trust and the opportunity to be a part of the Government in an exceptionally significant period for the health system. I remain open for cooperation and support in the future, always guided by the public interest,” Taravari writes in the resignation submitted to the Prime Minister.
